Q. can a member start new threads ?
A. I’ve had a mixed experience with this, with many times today I’ve clicked on New Discussion and then it brings up this screen
If you want to add a second comment, you need to refresh the page first to regenerate the comment box
is it clear enough in how to start a new thread?
On mobile it’s the floating + button. It took me a while to realise it was that. How is it displayed differently on a laptop / desktop screen?

Yes, on desktop it's a full pill button with + New Post…. on mobile, that shrinks to just the +
in current theme, the bar at the top tells you how many notifications and inbox messages you have. If his theme it doesn’t and you have to click on your user profile icon top right to see that.
Is that the same when viewing from desktop?

On desktop, you see icons for each in the header, with notification indicators.
can members currently see who has given them likes and lols? I know we can as mods but not sure if that’s the same for members?
I can’t see in this theme how you can see who has liked / lol’d your posts

Yes, you can mouseover the reactions to see who's reacted to what, as before.
does the greyed out thread titles stand out clear enough?
I can look at darkening that.
just noticed on the main discussions page, it doesn’t say who the last post was made by (just says 1 new). It does say who say thread starter
@Tester just looking above, did you edit my posts and add your comments? Hadn’t realised you’d replied.
Yes, thought it wouldn't clog up the page, but perhaps a bit subtle in retrospect lol
Added this in… my thinking was that the most recent comment made using the TROLL feature unusable, so thought let's try without. But in using it, I found I liked seeing who the last commenter is before clicking and the New badge that accompanies recent comments would out the TROLL feature anyway. So, it's back.
